JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — In a bid to support its operations, the Washington County Johnson City Animal Shelter introduced its first-ever ‘Cruising for a Cause’ car show on Sunday, welcoming contributions of cat and dog food.

According to Tammy Davis, the executive director of the shelter, the event showcased an impressive array of over 100 vehicles.

“We’re absolutely thrilled,” Davis shared. “This marks our very first annual car show at the animal shelter, and we were uncertain about the turnout. Personally, I would have been content with just 30 cars.”
