The White Lotus viewers were left disgusted by a ‘sick’ kiss between the Ratliff brothers on Sunday’s new episode amid a bizarre incest storyline. 

One of the families staying at the Thailand White Lotus is the Ratliff’s, including brothers Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola).

The bizarre story started towards the end of the Season 3 premiere, where Lochlan longingly tried to watch his brother masturbate.

The Ratliff brothers’ saga took an unexpected turn when they found themselves partying with Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) and Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) without their boyfriends.

After Saxon asked the two ladies to kiss, Chloe asked the brothers to kiss as well, as Lochlan wasted little time in kissing his brother.

Saxon, who was possibly under the influence of drugs for the first time, appeared unsure about how to respond to the kiss, sparking a flurry of discussions among fans on social media.

HBO’s The White Lotus added a new wrinkle to this season’s bizarre incest storyline on Sunday’s new episode.

Although Lochlan has never explicitly stated his sexual orientation or feelings towards his brother, a particular scene towards the end of the premiere seemed to confirm speculations.

Saxon vowed to try and get his little brother laid during this trip, setting his sights on Chloe, whose rich boyfriend Gary (Jon Gries), previously known in the first two seasons as Greg, didn’t join them on his massive yacht for the full moon party.

Chloe seemed to have her eye on Lochlan throughout the episode, even telling Lochlan at one point that people get laid at this full moon party, and she wanted to keep honoring local traditions.

While it’s unclear if she does end up having sex with Lochlan, all fans are talking about is his kiss with Saxon.

Saxon was clearly confused after the kiss – likely also high after taking a drug of some sort, but many fans seemed to think that Saxon enjoyed the kiss.

‘Saxon enjoyed that kiss a bit too much,’ said Twitter/X user @jegvlvs.

The episode begins with security guard Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) trying frantically to find the gun he somehow lost.

He watches the security footage and saw Timothy Ratliff enter his office and walk out with the gun, as he tries to figure out how to confront him about it.

Piper Ratliff (Sarah Catherine Hook) finally came clean with her parents, revealing that she wants to move there after she graduates.

Her mother Victoria (Parker Posey) could simply not fathom why she would want to spend a year of her life in Thailand. 

She finally comes clean and admits that she lied about a thesis paper – the reason she told them that she wanted to come to Thailand.

Meanwhile, on the luxury yacht, Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) and Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) are talking as Chloe admits that she’s into Lochlan, and Saxon tells Lochlan that he’ll go for Chelsea, since both their boyfriends are gone, as they go and chat with them. 

Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan), Kate (Leslie Bibb) and Laurie (Carrie Coon) continue their night out clubbing with Valentin (Arnas Fedaravičius) and his friends Vlad (Yuri Kolokolnikov) and Alexei (Julian Kostov).

They start dancing and really get into it, though it causes the ire of some local women who come over and argue with Alexei. 

They ultimately take the party back to their villa, where some nudity occurs before Kate shuts the party down early, although Valentin does come back to Jaclyn’s room and they have sex.

Meanwhile, Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) is told by the manager Fabian (Christian Friedel) that a regular has been inquiring about her. She ultimately fesses up and says that she knows the regular as Greg, though he apparently now goes by Gary.

She reveals that he’s wanted for questioning in the death of his wife Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge) and she thinks they should call the police.

Fabian is not interested in calling the police and says they shouldn’t gossip about the guests like this.

Meanwhile in Bangkok, Rick (Walton Goggins) meets up with an old friend Frank (Sam Rockwell, the real-life wife of Leslie Bibb), who hands him a large bag as a favor.

They catch up and Frank tells Rick he’s sober now and he found religion, but not before admitting that he’s into Thailand ‘ladyboys,’ while led him to find Buddhism.

Belinda also confides in Pornchai (Dom Hetrakul) about her concerns about Greg/Gary, getting him to spend the night with her in case he tries to kill her.

They also make out right before bed, while the party continues on Greg/Gary’s massive yacht.

We also learn what Timothy was planning on using the gun for, to take his own life, it seems.

He was seen writing a brief note to his family before raising the gun to his temple and pulling the trigger… but the gun only clicks.

Victoria comes out to check on him and he makes an excuse about writing a note, while crumpling up his suicide note, before praying to God, asking the deity to tell him what to do as the episode comes to an end.

The White Lotus returns with the sixth episode of the eight-episode season on Sunday, March 23 at 9 PM ET only on HBO.
