() Conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

Kirk, 31, is a conservative political activist and media personality who co-founded Turning Point USA.

The organization is a conservative grassroots activist network with a presence on over 3,500 high school and college campuses, according to its website.

Kirk, who has millions of social media followers, is perhaps best known for debating college students on political issues. He also hosts a popular podcast and recently made headlines after a conversation with California Governor Gavin Newsom.

President Donald Trump offered words of support on Truth Social on Wednesday, writing: “We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!.”

Kirk’s condition was not immediately known.
