Meghan Markle puts Whoopi Goldberg to sleep.

The “Ghost” actress, 69, refused to engage in a Hot Topics discussion about the Duchess of Sussex, 43, on Wednesday’s episode of “The View.”

The discussion revolved around Meghan Markle attracting criticism for including her HRH title in a message to her friend Jamie Kern Lima, even though she ceased her royal duties with Prince Harry back in 2020.

“Damn them!” Goldberg sarcastically yelled at the table.

During the conversation, an award-winning individual in various entertainment fields raised the question of whether it was inappropriate for Meghan to still identify as a member of the royal family. In response, Sunny Hostin stated that there was no issue with it.

Goldberg then cut Hostin, 56, off and declared, “Wake me up when you’re done!”

After the other co-hosts discussed the topic, Goldberg asked, “Can I ask a really dumb question that I just woke up for?”

“Are we that boring?” Joy Behar jokingly asked Goldberg.

“It’s the subject matter,” Goldberg responded.

The “Sister Act” star said she thinks “it’s cringier” that Lima, 47, exposed Markle’s note publicly.

“To me, I think if someone gives you a gift… I don’t feel like she needed to show that.”

“Whoopi, that was very insightful,” Hostin told Goldberg, who replied, “Well yeah, I’m old enough to be insightful.”

Markle caused controversy this week for the note in the gift basket she sent to Lima that read, “With Compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex.”

The IT Cosmetics co-founder claimed on her podcast Monday — which featured Markle as a guest — that the duchess sent the gift “about a year ago.”

Sources close to Markle told The Post that her use of the HRH title was not intended for a public purpose.

Additionally, insiders stressed that Meghan did not violate the agreement she and Harry made with Queen Elizabeth II prior to her passing, which stipulated that they should refrain from using their HRH titles publicly after stepping back from their royal roles.

On “The View,” Hostin defended Markle and insisted she can use her royal title in private situations.

“The agreement that was made did not remove the title. It restricted the way it was to be used. It was not to be used publicly,” said Hostin.

“And she was giving a friend some strawberry jam that she made herself and she wrote, ‘HRH The Duchess of Sussex.’ That was a private gift,” she added.

But Alyssa Farah Griffin called Markle’s actions “a little cringe,” though she also called out “petty” Prince William for his rumored plan to strip Markle and Harry, 40, of their HRH titles when he becomes king.

“Like, you only live once. Make up with your brother and his wife,” Griffin, 35, said about William’s ongoing feud with the Sussexes.

Meanwhile, Sara Haines criticized Markle for using her royal title with her friends.

“It’s kind of like a doctor when you keep referring to them as Doc and they’re like, ‘Call me Susan.’ I would never refer to myself as Her Royal Highness,” Haines, 47, said.

“The View” airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
