For the ninth time in its history, the Mega Millions jackpot has climbed beyond the $700 million mark.

WASHINGTON — The Mega Millions jackpot has now reached an impressive $754 million as players remain without a winner.

During Tuesday night’s draw, no ticket managed to match all six winning numbers. The jackpot at that time was $714 million, with a cash payout option of $334.1 million.

The next opportunity to win is scheduled for Friday, October 31.

The most recent jackpot win occurred on June 27, when a lucky ticket claimed a $348 million prize.

There were also no tickets that matched the five white balls, which would have paid between $1 million and $10 million depending on the multiplier.

Tuesday’s jackpot would have been the second-largest prize ever won in October, still less than half of the $1.537 billion won almost exactly seven years ago on Oct. 23, 2018.
