Woman insists her ex-boyfriend killed JonBenét Ramsey

() The name of a onetime suspect in the 1996 murder of JonBenét Ramsey is resurfacing as his former girlfriend urges Boulder, Colorado police to take another look.

Jacqueline Dilson told The Daily Mail that circumstantial and physical evidence point to her ex, Chris Wolf, as the killer of the 6-year-old nearly three decades ago. Wolf is quoted as calling the claims “absurd.”

JonBenét’s father, John Ramsey, said he spoke with Dilson previously and found her information “pretty compelling” and worthy of police attention.

“The problem was, they had decided on Day One that it was the parents,” the elder Ramsey told “Banfield” on Friday. “The so-called detective that was there that morning said she knew I was the killer because she saw it in my eyes, which is a remarkable talent.”

A prosecutor in 2008 officially ruled out JonBenét’s family as suspects, based on DNA evidence. The girl’s mother, Patsy, died in 2006.

The body of JonBenét, a child beauty pageant contestant, was found in the basement of her family’s home the day after Christmas in 1996. She had been strangled. Several hours earlier, Patsy Ramsey had called 911 to report that her daughter missing and a ransom note had been left behind.

To date, no one has been prosecuted in the case, although John Ramsey says local police have told him they’re committed to cracking it.

“They’re very cautious to disclose what they’re doing … I understand why they do that,” he said.

Dilson, the ex-girlfriend of Wolf, has independently published a book, “The Unheard Call,” which airs her allegations.
