The shocking video shows a crazed woman who was clinging to the top of an open 90-foot drawbridge in Miami. She eventually plummeted onto the pavement, resulting in critical injuries.

The terrifying moment came at around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, when the unidentified woman is seen grabbing onto the top of the rising drawbridge on the span between downtown Miami and Brickell, footage obtained by WPLG-TV News shows.

She then appears to lose her grip and slides rapidly onto the roadway, the clip shows.

“She was trying to climb up the bridge,” eyewitness Conor Walsh told the outlet. “As she got halfway up, she was holding on to the side — and then she just dropped.

“Three police cars, the medic. It was pretty, pretty hectic.”

Witnesses told Miami police that she appeared to be “under the influence of something” and may even have been masturbating atop the open span, the outlet reported.

Police have not identified the woman but said she suffered at least two broken legs.

The dramatic incident was captured on a bystander’s phone, the Miami Herald reported.

“It was something that I have always thought happening like, ‘What would I do?’” the witness, Robert Bruno, told the Herald. “The woman held on for dear life.

“Not many people realized what happened at first. It was intense.”

The incident remains under investigation by Miami police.
