A woman in California found herself in an unusual predicament on Tuesday when she was struck by a plane. She was subsequently taken to the hospital, where medical staff reported her condition as moderate but stable.

According to the Long Beach Fire Department, the aircraft had to make an emergency landing on a soccer field situated in a park.

Initial reports indicate that the plane had departed from Compton, California, and had traveled to French Valley, California. The incident occurred during its return journey to Compton.
