An Ohio man was arrested after allegedly hiding in the ceiling above a college women’s soccer locker room and photographing players as they changed, according to local reports.
Jayson Barker of Jeffersonville is facing nearly a dozen voyeurism charges after he was reportedly found inside the ceiling at Wilmington College’s women’s locker room, WLWT-TV reported.
Wilmington police officers were called to the Scheve Athletic Center shortly before 9:40 p.m. local time Tuesday after receiving reports that someone was taking pictures of team members while they changed clothes.

By the time officers arrived, Wilmington College Campus Safety personnel had already detained Barker.

Investigators said Barker worked at the college as a contract custodial employee. He allegedly concealed himself in the locker room’s ceiling area and was discovered by a member of the soccer team.
College officials said Jayson Barker was detained by Wilmington College safety officers.
“The college’s paramount concern is the safety and well-being of its students,” the institution said in a statement to the news outlet. “We have been providing counseling and other support services for the affected students since Tuesday night and are taking measures to ensure that no student’s safety or well-being is compromised. Also, the college continues to assist with law enforcement’s investigation.”
Barker remains held at the Clinton County Jail on a $22,000 cash surety bond. He faces 11 voyeurism counts and is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 5.
