Thomas Philip, a 73-year-old resident of Woodridge, is accused of four counts of aggravated fleeing from law enforcement, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney.

Authorities alleged that Philip was operating a vehicle without a valid license and lacking insurance coverage.

Bensenville police attempted to stop Philip on West Irving Park Road upon noticing his gold Lexus had expired registration tags.

Instead of complying, Philip allegedly accelerated and dangerously maneuvered into oncoming traffic lanes several times.
