Yungblud has decided to cancel the remaining dates of his world tour due to health issues, assuring fans that ticket holders will be refunded and vowing to “make it up” to them in the future.
WASHINGTON — The British singer-songwriter Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Richard Harrison, has announced the cancellation of his “Idols: The World Tour” due to a health condition.
“I tend to push myself to the limit, focusing only on the music and my fans. But now, I’ve been advised to take my health seriously,” he shared on social media Saturday evening, using explicit language to emphasize his point.
Famed for his unique style of alternative rock and his memorable performance with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler in a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the 2025 VMAs, Harrison has also withdrawn from Limp Bizkit’s upcoming “Loserville” tour in Latin America, again citing health concerns.
Although his Saturday announcement did not specify his health issues, he mentioned that doctors have instructed him to rest for the remainder of the year following concerning results from voice and blood tests.
“I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever,” he wrote. “I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.”Â
Earlier this year, Harrison stepped away from playing a show in Liverpool, England due to tonsillitis. To make it up to fans, he “put some money behind the bar” in Liverpool for concert ticket holders to get free drinks.Â
“I’m so sad I can’t be there but at least you can be together and celebrate each other, as that’s what Yungblud is all about,” he wrote in a now expired social media post. “I love you. Again, I’m truly sorry.”
The rest of the now canceled tour dates for the year are as follows:Â
- Nov. 19, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Nov. 23, Cleveland, Ohio
- Nov. 25, Washington D.C.
- Nov. 26, Washington D.C.
All tickets will be refunded and Harrison says his “heart is broken” by the decision. He also said he will send ticketholders a gift if they input their address when their ticket is refunded.Â
“I never take anyone’s love, support or energy for granted. You know you are everything to me. But I need this time,” he wrote. “USA I will see you next year. Mexico and (Latin America), we are already looking into my own shows down there that will be more affordable for next year too. It’s gonna be unbelievable. I can’t wait.”Â
Harrison is nominated three times at the upcoming Grammys for Best Rock Album for his fourth studio album “IDOLS,”  Best Rock Song for his single “Zombie,” and Best Rock Performance for his rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Changes” live at Villa Park. Â
