In a post on X this Saturday, Zelensky remarked, “Ukraine, unfortunately, has firsthand experience with such situations. Despite no threats from Ukrainians toward Iran, the Iranian regime chose to align with [Vladimir] Putin by supplying him with ‘Shahed’ drones.”

He continued, “Thus, it is just to provide the Iranian populace an opportunity to free themselves from a terrorist regime, ensuring safety for all nations impacted by terrorism originating from Iran.”
Zelensky concluded by stressing, “Preventing the conflict from spreading is crucial. It is vital that the United States takes decisive action.”
