Users on social media Wednesday are reporting money missing from their accounts. The Bank of America app says Zelle transactions will be delayed in appearing.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Bank of America app was reporting delays receiving Zelle payments Wednesday afternoon.
An error message on the app reads: “Zelle transactions made between January 14 and January 17 may be delayed in occurring and posting to accounts as requested. Transfers may be completed and will appear in your account activity and balances as soon as possible. We apologize for any delay or inconvenience.”
However, people on social media are reporting money that has already been posted to their accounts “disappearing.”
A Twitter user under the username @mfercsg posted: “Omg I thought I was the only one.. I was freaking out ALL my Bank of America accounts are NEGATIVE. Including my business account, @BankofAmerica, WHAT IS THIS?!”
