Anne Rice was a gothic fiction, Christian literature, and erotic literature author from the United States. Her most well-known work is the Vampire Chronicles trilogy. Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned are two films based on The Vampire Chronicles.
Rice’s books have sold over 150 million copies around the world, making her one of the most well-known and successful authors in history. Her early works elicited mixed reactions from critics and readers, but she gained popularity in the 1980s.

Who Is Anne Rice Husband?
Stan Rice, Anne Rice’s husband, was her life partner.
Stan died of brain cancer in 2002. The couple married on October 14, 1961, and were married for over 41 years.
They met in a journalism class in high school in Richardson, Texas. Later, they attended Denton’s North Texas State University together.
Stan, her husband, was a poet and artist from the United States. He worked at San Francisco State University as an English and Creative Writing professor.

According to the Daily Mail, Anne Rice died as a result of a complication from a stroke she had previously suffered.
She was accompanied by her son Christopher Rice, who stood by her bedside as she took her final breath.
On December 11, 2021, Anne Rice passed away.
