Anya Petrakova is a former professional basketball player from Russia.
Anya was a member of the Russian women’s national basketball team, who finished fourth in the Summer Olympics in 2012.
Looking at her professional accomplishments, the 6 ft 2 inch tall basket player won the 2011-12 EuroCup Women and the 2012-13 EuroLeague Women with Dynamo Kursk of the Russian Premier League.
Petrakova also won the 2013 FIBA Europe SuperCup Women while playing for UMMC Ekaterinburg.
The Russian started her club career with Russian Premier League team Dynamo Kursk in 2011 and later joined UMMC Ekaterinburg in 2012, where she played for two seasons.
For one season, she played with Dynamo Moscow before returning to UMMC Ekaterinburg in 2015, where she is still playing.

Anya Petrakova is a married woman who is expecting her first kid.
Candace Parker, another American basket player, is Anya’s husband.
Candace was the one who broke the news of their marriage and pregnancy.
The basketball couple has been married since 2019, but they have never made their marriage public.
The WNBA athlete broke the news on December 14 via an Instagram post.

Through the post, not only do they announce the pregnancy and marriage, but also come out to the public.
With a single post, she addressed three big news, first of coming out, second of marriage, and third of Anya’s pregnancy.
From her previous marriage to Shelden Williams, Candace has a daughter named Lallaa Nicole Williams.
Parker and Petrakova played together in Russia in the Russian Premier League side UMMC Ekaterinburg.
Candace, who currently plays for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, helped the team to clinch their first-ever WNBA title this year
The 6 ft 4 inches basketball player is also a basketball analyst and commenter for Turner Sports, providing coverage for the NBA games and NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
