Eric Zemmour, a French far-right pundit and presidential candidate, is suing Closer, a French gossip magazine, for publishing a cover story on Friday stating that Sarah Knafo, his de facto campaign director, is pregnant with his kid.
Zemmour’s lawyer, Olivier Pardo, indicated that his client was filing a lawsuit.

In September, a photo of Zemmour bathing with and hugging Knafo was published in the French luxury magazine Paris Match. The two, however, never publicly declared their connection.
Before the April election, Zemmour, married, attempts to appeal to the traditionalist Catholic electorate.
In a similar case, Zemmour sued Paris Match for infringing into his personal life.
