Joji Yanami may have earned a tremendous sum of money and is believed to have accumulated a wealthy worth during his career as a voice actor.

Started his career back in 1960s, Yanami was active on the industry before the genre became globally accepted by the audience and once the content found its serious market, anime became a billion dollars industry which benefitted the voice actors as well.

Yanami’s first appearance on the dubbing studio came in 1963 for the television series ‘Ken the Wolf Boy’ and was regularly active till 2015 as the narrator and voice actor of Kaio-sama in Dragon Ball Z.

Joji Yanami’s death cause is kept confidential but was revealed to have died on December 3, 2021.

The announcement of his passing was done by the talent agency Aoni Productions, a company who represented Yanami for years.

The veteran voice actor’s funeral has been done as his closed peers and family members were present to company him till the final moment.

The production company has expressed its gratitude towards the late-actor for his kindness during his career.

11-days after his demise, Aoni Productions revealed the devastating news and now the anime fandom are showering their love and condolences to the late great Joji Yanami.

Joji Yanami died at the age of 90.

Born as Shigemitsu Shirato on the August 30, 1931, Yanami was widely known for his voiceover in Dragon Ball Z, Cyborg 009, Moomin, Digimon, and so on.

The 5ft. 5-inches tall actor was present on the industry for 52 years and was affiliated with Aoni Productions.

Yanami was revealed to have taken a medical leave from Dragon Ball Super in 2015 for indefinite amount of time. That was the last time he ever dubbed for a character.

Joji Yanami’s wife is not known to the public.

The late-actor had not revealed about his relationship to the public but was believed to have been married.

Since he was 90 at the time of his death, Yanami is believed to have been survived by his kids and grandkids.
