Obituary- Tim Donnelly Death Cause – Actor Wikipedia and Wife – American actor who is popularly known as  Chet Kelly real name  Tim Donnelly suddenly passed away this weekend.

According to Metro Fire on Twitter, he died this weekend. Tim played Chet Kelly on the show Emergency.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our friend, Tim Donnelly aka Chet Kelly. Tim is survived by his daughter, Ashley, two grandsons, his sister Kathleen and his brother Dennis.

Sad news, Rest in Peace Tim and thank you. That show needed Chester Kelly, Chet Kelly needed Tim Donnelly to bring him to life. #RIPTimDonnelly.

He was born on September 3, 1944 in Los Angeles County, California, USA as Timothy David Donnelly. He is an actor, known for Emergency! (1972), The Clonus Horror (1979) and The Toolbox Murders (1978).

He had several different supporting roles in episodes of the late 1960s and early 1970s Webb-produced shows, such as Dragnet 1967-1970 and various roles in Adam-12. In late 1971, Webb personally selected Donnelly for the role that made him famous, that of the wisecracking Firefighter Chester B. “Chet” Kelly, in the Mark VII television series Emergency!

Following the 1978 cancellation of Emergency!, he appeared in several other series outside of those by Mark VII. He starred in episodes of television series such as Vega$Hawaii Five-OThe VirginianB. J. and the BearEnos and The A-Team, and even had starring roles in films such as The Toolbox Murders (1978) and The Clonus Horror (1979).

Tim retired from acting in 1984, but has appeared at various Emergency! conventions.
