CANELO ALVAREZ AND FERNANDA GÓMEZ ARE MARRIED
According to the World Boxing Organization, Canelo and Fernanda are now married. They shared a picture of the newlyleds on their Instagram page, followed by the caption:
“The WBO Family wishes lots of love and happiness to the recently married couple, Unified WBO Super Middleweight Champion Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez and Fernanda Gómez.”
Canelo has been dating Fernanda Gomez for three years. The pair also have a daughter together. Unlike Canelo’s past relationships, not a lot is known about his current relationship with Fernanda.
Fernanda also enjoys a lot of time with her daughter, as per her social media. At the same time, Fernanda is vocal about her feelings for Canelo as she has shared PDA-filled photos with him. Being his girlfriend, there is no doubt a luxury life follows her. She has given her followers a glimpse of what her lavish lifestyle looks like.

CANELO ALAVAREZ’S PAST RELATIONSHIPS
Canelo has had a long list of people he has dated in the past. He was reportedly engaged to Marisol Gonzalez, Miss Mexico Universe 2003. The pair were set to get married soon. However, differences in their relationship led them to grow apart.
He was then linked with Kate del Castillo. Kate even commented on their relationship as she once said, “there were some strong rounds, and yes, there were sometimes knockouts. He was the first to hit the canvas and ask for his corner to throw in the towel.” Unfortunately, this relationship did not lead to anything fruitful.
Canelo’s name is also linked with people like Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima, his business partner Nelda Sepulveda, and others. However, it looks like Canelo is focused on his relationship with Fernanda at the moment.

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez has only lost one of his 56 professional boxing fights.
He’ll be looking to continue his exemplary record by fighting Callum Smith at the Alamodome, in San Antonio, USA.
A win against the Liverpudlian would hand Canelo two more belts in a higher division than he’s used to.
Canelo’s fight against Smith will be his seventh while dating Fernanda Gomez.
Canelo has been seeing Gomez for three-and-a-half years, it’s believed.
He tends to avoid speaking about his personal life in public, but the pair have been spotted together at a number of high-profile events.
Canelo first met Fernanda at a charity event, back in 2017.
They hit it off straight away, and were seen together just a few months later, celebrating Canelo’s victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in Las Vegas.
The following year, the couple had their first child together; a daughter named Maria.
It was Canelo’s third child, however, as he also has a son and a daughter from previous relationships.
While Canelo tends to keep his social media to boxing, he has featured in a number of posts on Gomez’s Instagram.
She even posted a picture of the both of them watching Anthony Joshua’s rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia, back in December 2019.

Canelo will be hoping to maintain his unbeaten streak as he clashes with Smith this weekend.
The last time he lost a match was against Floyd Mayweather Jr, in September 2013.
Since then, Canelo went on to win 11 of his next 12 fights. The only fight that wasn’t a victory ended in a draw against Gennadiy Golovkin.
A year later, and Canelo won the rematch against Golovkin, to continue his excellent form.
Smith, meanwhile, also has a very good professional boxing record, having won all 27 of his previous fights.
But he’s never faced someone with the calibre of Canelo, and he’ll need to be at his very best to avoid defeat.
Smith has most recently beaten John Ryder, back in November 2019, after winning on points.
Neither boxer has fought for the past 12 months, with Canelo’s last fight coming against Sergey Kovalev in November 2019.
