Kanyi Maqubela’s wife is the daughter of Mr. Roke and Mrs. Dorothy Muna, Martha Andrecina Muna. She is a medical professional, who completed her MBBS from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons on 16th May 2018.

Furthermore, Mrs. Maqubela received two prestigious honors, including Dr. Harry S. Altman and the Daniel Noyes Brown Primary Care Scholar Awards. Also, the Columbia University Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society honored her as an inductee.

Steve Jung’s business partner, Kanyi Maqubela was born on 24th May 1985 in a small town, South of Johannesburg, South Africa. His parents, Vuyelwa and Temba Maqubela are of African descent.

Kanyi and his family moved to New England, USA when he was a child. He then enrolled at Phillipps Academy. But, he dropped out of high school in his final year. He also did not finish his undergraduate degree at Stanford University.

 

During Maqubela’s college days, his major subject was Philosophy whilst his minors were computer science, mathematics, chemistry, and physics. Nevertheless, he now teaches undergraduate students at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts for early semesters.
