Who Is Lt Col Stuart Scheller? Marine Arrested For Facebook Rant – Stuart Scheller is a US Marine Corps officer. He was relieved of his duty after criticizing military leadership over Afghanistan.
As per Scheller’s father, the marine has been arrested by the USMC on September 27, 2021. He is charged with violating the US military code.
On August 26, 2021, he had posted a video on Facebook and LinkedIn. The clip went viral because of which Stuart Scheller is making headlines.
Who Is Lt Col Stuart Scheller?
Stuart Scheller is a Marine officer who has served the force for 17 long years.
He announced that he was resigning his commission with a $2 million pension.
Scheller was assigned as a battalion commander for the Advanced Infantry Training Battalion.
Furthermore, he has a Bronze Star, 3 Meritorious Service Medals, 3 Navy Commendations, etc
More recently, he appeared in a YouTube video on September 16, 2021. In the video, he pleaded to charges against his senior officers.
Because of his withdrawal and comments, he has been charged with violating the military code.
Stuart actively shares his view on Twitter. He goes by the handle name @MarineLTStu and has 13.5 thousand followers to date.

Marine Stuart Scheller Arrested For Facebook Rant
Stuart Scheller went viral after a video of him circulated on Facebook.
The video was posted the same day when the suicide bombing happened in Afghanistan.
In the clip, he slammed military leaders over Afghanistan and questioned their leadership.
He also added that he had a “personal relationship” with one of the fallen service members. Although, did not name anyone.
People all over the country are being involved in fundraising campaigns to help him.
The Pipe Hitter Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign to fight for him. They believe in Scheller’s accountability from his leadership.

Stuart Scheller Father & Family
Stuart Scheller’s father is Stu Scheller Sr. He says that the officer is currently in the brig.
He further added that his son is expected to appear before a military hearing on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
The Marine Corps has also issued a statement confirming that Scheller has been sent to the brig.
Lt Col Stuart Scheller got married in 2005 and has three kids with his wife. They reside in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
He has three sons, Paul, Sean, and Mark. However, the name of his wife is not available at the moment.
