In Lucy’s presentation of British Army Horse Power in the Great War, she studies the equine experience of destruction and its consequences in natural calamities. She also investigates the many ways in which the British Army employed horses and mules.

Lucy thought about how important these creatures were in assisting military operations and bringing victory. On the other hand, the First World War was a struggle that was directly linked to scientific advancement and the industrialization of warfare.
