Zhang Gaoli Children & Family
Zhang Gaoli has wife Kang Jie have two children together.
Their biological son was born in 1989. As of 2013, he is serving his nation as a Junior Officer in the army.
Gaoli had adopted his cousin’s daughter Zhang Xiaoyan. She is now married to Li Shengpo of Xinyi Glass Company.
Zhang Gaoli was born to a family from Jinjiang County, Fujian. He had a hard life after his father died when he was only three years old.
He has four siblings and was raised by a single mother. The Gaoli family then had to survive working as a farmer in a neighboring river.
Zhang’s eldest brother died fighting as part of an insurrection in 1961.
Peng Shuai Accuses Zhang Gaoli Of Sexual Abuse
Tennis star Peng Shuai has accused Zhang Gaoli of sexual assault through a social media post.
She confessed on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, that the former VP forced her into sex.
Peng also says, their on and off relationship lasted for more than five years from 2012 to 2017.
The allegation post was made via Peng’s verified account on Weibo. The contents were viewed more than 100k times and were removed instantly.
However, screenshots of a since-deleted post have been circulating all over social media.
At the time, there was no further word from the 35-year-old Peng or Zhang Gaoli.
Like Zhang, his wife Kang Jie remains closely shielded by the government and could not be reached for comment.
The authorities have charged government officials with sexual misconduct before. The developing news is hitting a serious investigation lately.
