Authorities say Alabama-based rapper OMB Peezy was detained for a gunshot at a music video location in downtown Atlanta. On Monday, March 1, 2021, police apprehended him outside his home.

OMB Peezy was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to press reports, he had a handgun pistol while committing a crime.

On February 21, the incident occurred at a scrap yard where rappers Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg recorded a music video. According to Atlanta police, two guys were injured in the shooting. Another person was hurt at the site. However, it is untold if he was shot.

 

 

Officer Anthony Grant, a spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department, said all three guys were stable. Roddy and Dugg were both unharmed.

According to Grant, another guy was apprehended at the site and charged with narcotics possession. At the time of the incident, the individual was not considered a suspect.

As per Tracy Flanagan, a spokesman for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Peezy, whose actual name is LeParis Dade, was brought to the Fulton County Jail and held on a $60,000 bail.

Dade must wear an ankle monitor and forfeit his passport before posting bond, according to Flanagan. However, It is still unknown whether he had a counsel who could speak for him.
