Who Is Arrested Shooting Suspect Justin Heimbecker? The suspect in the Langham Saskatcheang shooting has been identified as Justin Heimbecker, but he has yet to be apprehended.
At around 7:40 a.m., people in the Langham Saskatchewan community were preparing for their 30km morning commute to Saskatoon for work when they were advised to stay at home by an emergency alert sent to their mobile phone.
The alert informed citizens in the area to take shelter as police were searching for a white male suspect following a shooting in the community.
Subsequently, another update was sent at around 9 am identifying the suspect as Justin Heimbecker, the alert described Justin as a white male with brown eyes and about 6 feet 3 inches tall.
He is believed to be armed and information about him having access to a vehicle was not known. People were also advised not to pick up hitchhikers from the area according to CTV News.
