Kurtis Dilks, a member of a four-person gang that broke into the home of former England footballer Ashley Cole and threatened to cut off his fingers has been found guilty of being a “dominant and dangerous” robber.

As he described how the masked raiders shackled his hands behind his back in January 2020 while he was holding his little daughter, Cole, a former defender for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Derby, told investigators that he knew “today I am going to die.”

Kurtis Dilks was the only member of the gang responsible for the heist to be apprehended, according to evidence presented at Nottingham Crown Court. His DNA was found on the cable ties that were used to confine Cole and his partner, Sharon Canu.

The 35-year-old courier claimed that because the cable ties and knife seized at the scene in Fetcham, Surrey, had previously been taken from his truck, his DNA was present on them.

Dilks and five other defendants were found guilty of participating in a series of “ruthlessly executed” robberies and break-ins that occurred between October 2018 and January 2020 and is now detained.

Kurtis Dilks is the person involved with a criminal background and is also said to have a gang to perform such illegal activities. He is now trending online as he robbed the famous personality, Cole, a former defender for Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Police and investigation authorities must be busy collecting information and searching for his other partners doing such crimes as they have not officially posted any mugshots on Facebook or any other social media.

Along with the assault on Cole, Dilks and co-defendants Ashley Cumberpatch and Andrew MacDonald were also found guilty of plotting to rob the wife of former Tottenham Hotspur footballer Tom Huddlestone in May 2019.

Additionally, the trio was found guilty of participating in the theft of an Edward VII coronation tiara valued at £3.5 million from the Harley Gallery on the Welbeck Estate in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, in 2018.

The Portland Diamond, which belongs to the 19th century, is the focal point of the tiara. Two diamond drops and additional pendant diamonds, all set in gold and silver, bordered it.
