According to some news outlets, Lorena Bobbitt died in a car accident. However, no official confirmation has been made by credible news sources.

Likewise, the death cause and funeral details of Bobbitt could not be traced at the time being.

As of 2020, Bobbitt was living with her maiden name Lorena Gallo. She had been living in Manassas, Virginia for a very long time now.

According to Distractify, Lorena was surviving with her current partner of two decades, John Bellinger. They were also raising a teenage daughter named Olivia.

Lorena Bobbitt is currently 51 years old. She’d been a hairstylist and manicurist for many years.

Gallo has been seen working as a real estate agent in recent years after successfully obtaining her license.

Similarly, she established Lorena’s Red Wagon, a foundation dedicated to the prevention of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Meanwhile, her ex-husband, John Wayne, appeared in two pornographic films in the 1990s. He also racked up a slew of abuse allegations.

Lorena Bobbitt claimed she was a victim of John Wayne’s assault because her husband had abused her for years.

On June 23, 1993, Bobbitt severed her husband’s penis, resulting in two high-profile trials that year.

Lorena sliced off her husband’s organ while he was sleeping after years of suffocation with Wayne. She then threw it out her car window.

She eventually reported the incident to police, who discovered the organ after a thorough search. It was later surgically reattached.

Bobbitt’s name was soon vilified in the media as a scorned woman. The couple eventually divorced in 1995.

Lorena Bobbitt was arrested on June 23, 1993, after admitting to the crime.

She was then subjected to a 45-day evaluation period at Petersburg’s Central State Hospital.

During her trials, the lady revealed that when she became pregnant, John forced her to have an abortion. He had assaulted her on numerous occasions.

In February 1991, John pled guilty to assault and battery as well. Despite the fact that his charges were dropped following a counseling session.
