Frankie Smith Star Hobson Mother: Is She Still Alive?

Yes, she is alive and well, and she is on trial for the murder of her child, Star Hobson.

The toddler’s mothers, Frankie Smith, 20, and Savannah Brockhill, 28, have been charged with murder and causing or enabling the death of a child.

They both deny the allegations.

Star Hobson died on September 22, 2020, despite doctors’ best efforts summoned to a property in Keighley, and the pair was charged with her murder at Bradford Crown Court.

When medics discovered Star’s body, her breathing efforts were limited, and her skin was a waxy grey.

According to jurors, she vomited massive amounts of brown fluid in an ambulance before being taken to the hospital, where she died shortly after.

Star Hobson Mother Frankie Smith Trial Update

Frankie Smith and Savannah Brockhill, both of Keighley, West Yorkshire, have been charged with her daughter’s murder.

Smith’s cell phone video of her yelling at the child was shown to a jury at Bradford Crown Court. The footage was delivered to Brockhill, who informed the court.

When asked why she did it, her barrister, Zafar Ali QC, claimed Brockhill told her she needed to wake Star up because it wasn’t nap time. According to the court, Brockhill received the footage and informed the court.

Where Is Frankie Smith Now?

Frankie Smith is currently on trial for the alleged murder of her daughter, Star.

Frankie Smith, 20, has been found guilty of child maltreatment but claims her girlfriend, Savannah Brockhill, is to blame for her 16-month-old daughter’s death.

The couple, who had been in a toxic relationship for 11 months prior to Star’s death, are both on trial for murder and causing or facilitating her death.

Star was taken to the hospital by a police officer who came to the house and noticed bruises on her fart.

The injuries, according to Smith, were caused by the child tripping and hitting a coffee table while learning to walk; the prosecution told jurors earlier in the trial that the child died of utterly catastrophic injuries as a result of the couple’s continuous attacks.

The case is still being heard in court.
