During the 1980s, he developed a following in Cornwall and Devon before making a national television appearance on the ‘Des O’Connor Show’ in 1990.

Jesse, a stone fence builder, and Lanyon, who runs Cornwall Cycle Tours, are Jethro’s two sons. Jethro’s family also includes a stepdaughter, Sarah, and a daughter-in-law, Stacey, as well as his adoring grandchildren.
