Juan Francisco Ibarra-Tapia – Who Is He?

Juan Francisco Ibarra-Tapia was a young man who got involved in the murder of Zobeyda Esquerra. Though he tried to get away with the crime, eventually Turlock polices were able to arrest him.

 

 

The official with the emergency team arrived at the shooting scene after receiving a call from the scene. Zobeyda was taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

She was shot multiple times and died as a result of the wounds. Ibarra began stalking her after she refused to pursue their relationship further despite the fact that they were only friends.

Cinthy Venegas, the victim’s sister, confirmed that he had been stalking Zobeyda for months and had been arrested in October. Ibarra, as pare Cinthy, was bailed out the same day.

Turlock Police Department arrested Juan Francisco Ibarra on Tuesday. On Tuesday, around 9 p.m., officers received a call about a shooting near Geer Road and Wayside Drive.

The suspected driver fled after an officer patrolling the area attempted to stop a light-colored vehicle involved in the shooting. Later, the driver crashed into a fence on North Quincy Road near Arbor Way.

According to the report, he then got out of the car and fled the scene. The resident called 911 after receiving the emergency notification from the officials, claiming to see the suspect in the area.

As per the Merced-Sun Star article, when their reporter Wednesday afternoon, Ibarra-Tapia’s father said he didn’t want to talk right then. There is not much personal information about Ibarra.
