Kazuo Ishiguro Is Not Dead But Still Alive - His Partner Lorna MacDougall & Net Worth Details Explored

Kazuo Ishiguro, who was thought to be dead, is alive and well, according to the news.

Shizuo Ishiguro was born on November 8, 1954, in Nagasaki, Japan, to Shizuo and Shizuko Ishiguro.

He is a dual citizen of both the United Kingdom and Japan. Kazuo Ishiguro went to the Universities of Kent and East Anglia, as well as the Woking County Grammar School for Boys.

No, Kazuo Ishiguro Is Not Dead But Still Alive

Yes, you read that correctly: Kazuo Ishiguro is not dead, but rather alive. The news of his death spread quickly on social media, causing concern among his fans and supporters.

But, hopefully, the news was a hoax and he’s fine. According to the user, an Italian named Faber Books posted the story claiming that Ishiguro is dead when he is not.

A lesson in internet hoaxes blowing up in 3-2-1: Account on the left is apparently a trolling account (only has 3 tweets right now), @FaberBooks on the right is the publisher’s official account. Check your sources, tweeps! (As far as I can see, Kazuo Ishiguro has not died, phew.) pic.twitter.com/mkoN0yF2d4

Netizens are overjoyed to hear the good news and are sharing their joy on Twitter. Some of them expressed concern about the misuse of social media and tweet, “The Ishiguro hoax is clearly depressing.”

“However, the haste with which some people, including at least one major newspaper, shared and even published the ‘news’.  With no attempt to verify the story is concerning.”

Similarly, another fan wrote, “I’m relieved to learn that Kazuo Ishiguro is still alive. He’s a fantastic novelist, and there’s probably no better time to say that his most recent novel, Klara and the Sun, is absolutely brilliant.”

“Buy it and be thankful he’s still with us.”

Ishiguro is a British novelist who was born in 1954 and is best known for his work on An Artist of the Floating World, The Remains of the Day, When We Were Orphans, Never Let Me Go, and Klara and the Sun.

Kazuo Ishiguro’s Death Hoax Takes Over Twitter

Kazuo Ishiguro’s death hoax spread like wildfire until it was recognized as a spoof.  The news was shared by some recognizable news portals and accounts on Twitter.

It appears as the news originated from Faber Book, who wrote, “Ishiguro passed away at the age of 67 and the official news will be released soon. However, the Twitter account is deactivated ever since.

The official Faber Books account tweeted once more that the account is a forgery created by an Italian named Tommasso Debenedetti.

Similarly, one user accused Indian express of not validating the news and spreading false information that author #KazuoIshiguro has died. “They couldn’t possibly have verified the truth,” she wrote.

However, it has served as a lesson to the reporter for validating the news with a reliable source before publishing.
