Lorenzo Leviste the son of Loren Legarda. His name has recently surfaced on the internet after he published an open letter discussing his opinion on his mother’s current candidacy in the upcoming elections.

He said that his mother “is a woman who lived through Martial Law” and that she taught him to value truth and justice. He added that she was a previous journalist who had experienced the horror of martial law.

Thus, he expressed his sorrow because his mother “spits in the faces” of thousands of people whose lives were destroyed by the Marcoses and the Dutertes.

According to Yahoo News, the politician is tied for first place in the polls for senatorial candidates with Raffy Tulfo, another strong Independent candidate. Additionally, she gained the endorsement of the One Bangsamoro Movement.
