According to the sheriff’s office, the search is getting difficult due to the water. The river’s water is very strong, making it very hard to see anything in the water. The sheriff’s office also added that it is only possible to locate him after the water level drops significantly.

LSUE Chancellor has released a statement stating that the news devasts them. Further, Everette’s sisters describe him as a fun, loving, adventurous basketball lover. According to his sisters, he was a family-oriented man who could get along with everybody.
