Shafayeth Syed is a former Hamilton Township schoolteacher. He was fired from William Davies Middle School last month as a former eighth-grade science teacher. On Wednesday, the township police revealed that he was arrested again after a previous arrest.

Shafayeth’s current age is 27 years. He is originally from Egg Harbor Township, reports The Press Of Atlantic City.

Prior to his first arrest on February 18, he urged his students and followers to report a social media page that featured videos of the school’s students using the restroom. Syed informed school officials about the videos.

On YouTube, he goes by the alias Sha Vlimpse and raps. He accused the middle school of failing to take responsibility and of failing to address the cyberbullying situation. Shafayeth believes he is a victim of discrimination because of his race.

The superintendent of the school district, Jeffrey Zito, denied all allegations that Shafayeth’s dismissal was discriminatory.

Shafayeth Syed was arrested again, and he is now facing additional charges. He was arrested in Wilmington, Delaware, at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

He was charged with creating a false public alarm, cyber harassment, and making terroristic threats. After an investigation into harassing and threatening social media posts about the township school and its staff, he was charged with ridicule or contempt of court.

He was apprehended by Delaware State Police and is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington. He is being held on a $3000 cash bail. The investigation is still ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
