Tyre Sampson’s fake cousin Shay Johnson has been identified as a woman named Lewishena Lavonia Browning according to Orlando Sentinel.
She was seen outside the Orlando FreeFall protesting by wearing an image of Tyre on her t-shirt and demanding justice. She also spoke to the media posing as a family representative.
As doubts about her claims to be Tyre’s cousin rose, journalists and authorities spoke with the family only to find out she has no ties with the family in any way.
Lewishena was later identified as a woman from Orlando by the authorities, she previously worked in an Orlando adult entertainment club called Flash Dancers as an entertainer for five years before being fired due to her deception.
She is no stranger to deception, Browning has served time in Orange County jails on many occasions, including for domestic violence and driving with a suspended or revoked license. She offered a deputy who pulled her over a bogus name and ID during an arrest in April 2020.
