Why Is Phaedra Parks Ex-Husband Arrested And In Jail?
Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in federal prison in August 2014 after being accused of taking part in a large money-laundering scheme.
In court, prosecutors accused him of laundering more than $2 million through bogus bank accounts.

Nida was sentenced to over $2 million in restitution after being convicted of conspiracy to commit mail, wire, and bank fraud.
Nida must pay $1.95 million in fines, with varying amounts going to JP Morgan Chase (Nida owes $828.000), the IRS, Delta Airlines, and the states of California, Connecticut, and Texas, among others.
