Sylvie Gatrill is said to have died on Thursday, February 18, 2022. She had died as a result of a cancer battle.

According to one of her close friends, who shared the news on social media, the actress died in her husband’s arms.

 

 

Tony Schumacher, author of The Responder, tweeted, “So sorry to hear of the passing of the quite brilliant Sylvie Gatrill.”

“Such a talented actress who was instrumental in setting the tone for #TheResponder. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family. #RIP.”

Similarly, Tony Nyland, her Bread co-star, posted, “I’ve just heard the sad news that the lovely, talented Sylvie Gatrill has died.”

“In the BBC series “Bread,” Sylvie and I had a great time playing Edith and Hesketh Cullen. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends.”
