Terrell is a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center who does not live in the United States. He previously worked at Foxtrot Alpha, a military, technology, and policy blog.
In addition, he served as FUSION’s national political correspondent during the 2016 presidential campaign.
He is a regular guest on the In The Thick Podcast and The Young Turks, where he discusses Eastern European and American politics.

Terrell has a master’s degree in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies. He also has another master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois in which he focused on the EU’s integration of former communist states.
He earned a bachelor’s in English from Philander Smith College, a historically black college and university in Little Rock, Arkansas.
