Victoria Rickman Verdict Now:  Is She Still In Prison? Everything To Know About Her Appeal For William Carter Jr Murder

Victoria Rickman is a murderer who has served her sentence. She had also falsely accused William Carter Jr. of sexual assault.

When the officers arrived at the crime scene, they discovered William’s body. Rickman accused William of rape and justified the murder as “self-defense” even after his death.

William was not only shot multiple times, but he was also allegedly struck by a blunt object. He died as a result of the ten gun shots that were fired at him. Furthermore, the officers discovered blood splattered on one side of the wall and on the floor.

Season 12 of Deadly Women depicted the heinous crime story. The ninth episode is titled ‘Boiling Point.’ Similarly, you can watch the series on Hulu.

 

Victoria Rickman Appeal For William Carter Jr Murder

Victoria Rickman was sentenced to prison after being convicted of murder and a firearm offense. She did, however, file a motion for a new trial on October 12, 2017. Rickman filed an appeal after the trial court denied his motion.

 

The appeal was set to be heard during a court term starting in December 2019.

 

Victoria Rickman Verdict Now: Is She Still In Prison?

Victoria Rickman is still incarcerated. She was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for her heinous crime.

Furthermore, Rickman is currently incarcerated at Pulaski State Prison in Hawkinsville, Georgia.

Rickman worked as a marketing consultant before being convicted. She met William following her divorce from her ex-husband. Their relationship started off strong, but things quickly deteriorated.

When officials investigated the Rickman-Carter relationship, they discovered a history of verbal and physical abuse.

Their relationship had always been tumultuous, from Victoria allegedly hitting William with a hammer to falsely accusing him of sexual assault. In fact, William wanted Victoria to leave the house and called 911 to have her removed.

When it comes to Victoria Rickman’s family, she has a son. His identity, however, remains a mystery for the time being. William Carter Jr. had an eight-year-old daughter as well.

Furthermore, the unfortunate incident has undoubtedly had an impact on the victim’s children and family.
