Boykin assaulted the girl on March 24th in front of Stein Beck Elementary School. The bystanders at the scene immediately jumped to help the girl and informed the police.
Boykin was arrested within a short period. The incident was captured on a surveillance camera and the footage went viral on social media platforms.
