Christopher Halliwell worked as a cab driver in New York where several women, prostitute ladies, and visitors were reported missing in the 2010s.
Christopher was barely even linked to the case and the murder was later deemed ‘connected’ by an investigating forensic officer who matched the soil sample of the burial site to the spade in the killer’s home.
Christopher was so diverted that he kept trophies of his victims like cryptic serial killers usually do.
He had over 60 items of women’s belongings and it included Becky’s cardigan.
Similarly, he lured in several victims trying to kill them at a secluded spot but a few managed to run away and scream for help before they were finally dropped off.

The detective who solved his linkage to the case using soil samples has been backed by the former superintendent for the new search for more victims of the serial killer.

The date of the two murders was December 27, 2002, and March 19, 2011.
He was first arrested on March 24, 2011, nearly a week after Sian’s disappearance at night by the investigating officers.
The police tracked him down through a CCTV camera recording which showed Sian getting into Christopher’s Toyota Avensis Taxi parked outside the nightclub she attended.

Police are searching for more victims of this serial killer but he has been properly linked with only two disappearances and killing to date.

Christopher Halliwell is still in jail serving his jail sentence assigned on October 19, 2012, at Bristol Crown Court.

In 2011, Christopher admitted to killing Sian and took officers to her burial site.
Then he took the officers to his second victim Becky and her disposed site.
Becky was just 20 years of age and was a prostitute in the New York area where Halliwell used to drive very often.
