Where Is Ryan Peniston From? Ryan Peniston is an English tennis player from Essex. He reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 180 and a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 384 on June 13, 2022.

Ryan made his ATP main draw singles debut as a wildcard at the Queen’s Club Championships, where he defeated top seed and world no. 5 Casper Ruud in straight sets for his first ATP victory.

For the first time in his career, he reached the quarterfinals of an ATP tour-level tournament, defeating another top-50 player, Francisco Cerundolo. As a result, he entered the top 150 singles rankings for the first time.

Ryan Peniston is from Southend, United Kingdom. He was a member of the GB University Team that won the country’s first-ever team gold medal at the Master’U Championships. The athlete graduated from the University of Memphis tennis program.

Peniston competed in the ‘Battle of the Brits’ competition during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and did well, losing only on tie-breaks in the last set against top-50 players Dan Evans and Cameron Norrie.

Peniston earned the Heraklion leg of the 2021 ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour (April–June) on 30 May 2021, dropping only one set throughout the event and conceding only three games to Yuta Shimizu in the final.

He was given a wildcard into the Nottingham Open’s singles and doubles main events in 2021.

He was then given a wildcard for the 2021 Queen’s Club Championships doubles, the main draw, where he will compete partnering with Liam Broady, as well as a qualifying draw for the singles.

Peniston and Broady beat Alexander Bublik and Nicholas Monroe in straight sets in the opening round of doubles. Peniston defeated Marc-Andrea Hüsler in singles qualifying before losing in three sets to Aleksandar Vukic.

Ryan Peniston was born to his father, Paul Peniston, and his mother. His father, Paul, is a mentor and most definitely a tennis coach, and he is ecstatic about his son’s tennis career.

His mother, whose title is unknown, contributes to LTA’s body of thinking.

Peniston’s parents have also been helpful and proper throughout. They were the ones who had been there for Ryan throughout his experience rising up when he was going through malignant progression.

Ryan’s father, Paul was ecstatic for his child on Queen’s victory; he usually gets nervous and departs while Ryan plays. However, this time he managed to stay for the entire match and watch his little one grow to be successful, according to ECHO.

Despite the fact that much about Ryan’s mother has not yet reached its peak, she is a fighter who has effectively passed on her contender’s excellent qualities to her child.

Apart from his family, the tennis player has two brothers, both of whom work at NHS alongside their mother.

Ryan Peniston holds British nationality.

Peniston experienced rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer, as a toddler and had to undergo surgery to remove a tumor as well as chemotherapy. His growth was halted by cancer, and he was significantly smaller than his peers until he was 16 years old.

He relocated to Nice, France, at the age of 13 to train at ISP Academy before attending college at the age of 18.
