Who Is Arrested And Jailed Siraj Patel Lancaster?  Simply Delicious, formerly known as “Money,” was owned by Siraj Patel of Dallas Road, Lancaster, until Preston Crown Court ordered him to have nothing to do with the takeaway business.

Following a trial at Preston Crown Court, the former owner was found guilty of four counts of sexual activity with an underage child and one count of sexual grooming. Siraj received a four-year prison sentence for abusing a 15-year-old girl.

Siraj Patel from Lancaster is the former owner of the takeaway Mognies. After finding him guilty of sexual assault, he was ordered to have nothing to do with the business. Further, Police were looking to close down the takeaway after the owner was jailed.

He was jailed for abusing a 15-year-old girl in his delivery van. Further, Siraj got a sexual harm prevention order and is on the sex offenders register for life.

Later the immigration officials and Police raided the takeaway and found three illegal immigrants from India all living above it in a single room. The official later awarded the license to Siraj’s wife.

She was also warned that her husband, Siraj, could not have any link with the takeaway. However, the Lancashire Police and Lancaster City Council found reports he is involved with the premises again.

Siraj Patel Was Arrested On Sexual Assault -Meet His Wife

A takeaway owned by a convicted pedophile, Siraj Patel, was later awarded to his wife, Savera, despite police concerns of a severe risk of more grooming. She was given the license, and the takeaway started operating as Simply Delicious.

Further, she was given a warning that her husband could not have any connection with the takeaway. However, the officials argued that other children could be abused or groomed at the takeaway.

Siraj’s wife was not involved in any wrongdoing and had no hand in the grooming of children, dispute their objection at a licensing hearing. Finally, her application was approved by Lancaster City Council.

Richard Williams, representing Lancashire Police, stated that it was objecting to her application as the grooming took place in a Mognies delivery van and also involved phone calls being made from the area to the victim.

He added the force was not claiming Mrs. Patel was involved in any crime but said she is connected to Patel.

After Siraj Patel was jailed for sexually assaulting an underage girl, his wife, Savera, was provided with the license to operate the takeaway under the new name Simply Delicious. Besides his wife, details of his other family members are not known.

He was prohibited from being connected with the takeaway by all accounts. But Lancashire Police and Lancaster City Council conducted an investigation into reports Siraj is involved with the premises again.

Previously, Police attempted to revoke the license for Mognies in Lascater to protect children and the public. Licensees must follow public safety objectives, prevention of crime and disorder, protection of children from harm, and prevention of public nuisance.

Lancaster Takeaway Owner Siraj Patel Charges And Mugshots On Twitter

In December 2016, former Mognies owner Siraj Patel was jailed for four years after abusing a 15-year-old girl in his delivery vehicle. He was also added to the sex offenders register for life as well.

After his prison release, it was reported that he might be involved with the takeaway again. A customer who ordered from the business reported to the authorities that he believed the man who delivered his food was perhaps Mr. Patel.
