The defamation trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard became an even more bizarre spectacle when one of Heard’s lawyers accused a witness, Morgan Night, of following a Depp superfan known on Twitter as That Umbrella Guy.

When asked if he follows the user on Twitter, Night said he has no idea and doesn’t care if he follows that guy on Twitter. “I don’t care or follow That Umbrella Guy,” Night said in a statement.

Additionally, Night testified under oath-taking that the courtroom giggled. The witness said he was not familiar with one of Depp’s former lawyers. Adam Waldman.

Heard’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, stated to the court that Night followed That Umbrella Guy on Twitter and often spoke to him. On hearing the statement, the witness appeared confused and said it sounded like schizophrenia.

Heard also, on the other hand, stifled a laugh at her lawyer’s question. Morgan’s testimony came close to the end of the six-week trial over Depp’s legal fight against his former wife, Amber.

That Umbrella Guy, also referred to as TUG for short, is a well-known American entertainment news Youtuber. His videos gained popularity from originally talking about comics.

Furthermore, That Umbrella Guy grew widely discussing the #StandwithVic movement based around the allegation of Vic Mignona, amine voice actor, and his case came by Funimation voice actors mainly Monica Rial.

Reportedly, the actual name of the Twitter user is believed to be Matthew Lewis from Mcminnville, Tennessee, better known online as a prominent Comicgate figure identified as That Umbrella Guy.

Currently, the Twitter man is highlighted for his Johnny/Amber videos. He also discusses the court cases and evidence against Amber through various documents. Moreover, the witness, Morgan Night, is accused of following him on Twitter.

That Umbrella Guy is trending following the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial on Twitter. He is referred to as one of Depp’s biggest cheerleaders online by one of Heard’s lawyers.

In short, TUG took to his Twitter handle and stated, “Insider, calling me a “Johnny Depp superfan. No, I’m the thing you mainstream hacks should’ve been all along. Someone is seeking the truth.”

He added, “Instead, you had Amber Heard donate $7 million in money she never gave. Had her abused in ways that were medically impossible?”

The defamation trial has entered its sixth and last week. The Pirates of the Caribbean star, Johnny, brought to trial against his ex-wife, Aquaman actress, alleging Amber defamed him when she addressed herself as a victim of domestic violence in a Washington Post op-ed.
