The New York Police Department has a suspect under their custody for the murder of beloved vocal coach, Baraba Gustern. According to the authorities, the suspect is identified as Lauren Pazienza and she had surrendered herself to the police this morning.
The famous vocal coach was pushed to death on the street while she was waiting for a cab. Initially, it was suspected suicide but after observing CCTV footage, the authorities ruled it a homicide.

Lauren Pazienza is a woman from Long Island, New York.
Moreover, she was the one who reportedly murdered vocal coach, Barbara Gustern. The 87-year-old was pushed on the street while she was waiting for a taxi. Following the push, she hit her head which became the cause of her demise.
However, her motive behind the murder has not been revealed yet. Reports say that she had Gustern as her own vocal coach as well. Many people suspect that the two of them might have a disagreement during their session.

Why Was Lauren Pazienza Arrested For Murder: Charges Explained
Lauren Pazienza is now arrested for the murder of Barbara Gustern.
Surrendered to the NYPD, she has admitted that she pushed the vocal coach on the street which resulted in her death. But the reason behind her act is not known until now.
As per the authorities, Lauren Pazienza will now be charged with manslaughter. Looking at the state of the case, she might get a minimum of 15 years in prison if convicted.
No court date has been set until now. The suspect will face court in the upcoming days which will decide the date of her trial as well.
