Santino Robinson is the primary suspect in the Knoxville shooting. At the time of his arrest, he was 32 years old. Santino Reginald Robinson is his full name, and he is originally from Knoxville.

Around 7:15 a.m., police were called to the scene and found the victim at The Vista Apartments, 232 S. Hall of Fame Drive. A witness heard a gunshot and saw the victim and a suspect flying away. Jeffrey had a gunshot wound to the torso.

He was listed as being homeless by the police. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal impersonation, reports Knox News.

Over the course of the investigation, several leads were developed, which started from the security camera footage from the apartment complex.

The witness called the police after seeing the victim and suspect in a physical altercation. Santino ran away from the scene before police arrived, and he was finally located on Tuesday.

He has now been charged in the February fatal shooting of Jeffery Evans at Knoxville’s Vista Apartments. A spokesman for the Knoxville Police Department stated in a press release that Robinson was arrested on an outstanding warrant in connection with the shooting.
