Why Is Tony Dokoupil Not On CBS This Week?

The main reason why Tony Dokoupil is not on the show is because he traveled.
This Morning’s CBS co-host Tony Dokoupil did not appear on the show this week. Vladimir Duthiers posted that he had filled in for him this week when the audience was wondering where he was.

At the end of the message, he remarked, “I hope you’ll join us.” Meanwhile, the co-host has been deafeningly quiet about his exit from the show.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Tono Dokoupil, a CBS co-host, revealed he is now in Israel in an Instagram story. He is 24 hours away from his flight due to certain modifications in travel after he arrived there. He mentioned in the report that he had already taken the COVID test.

People have been asking where Vladimir’s Tono has gone since he wrote about filling his spot for the performance. Despite rumors that he is leaving the show, his social media accounts tell a different narrative.

As soon as he arrives in the United States, the host will return to the show as a co-host. Currently, a 51-year-old CBS News Correspondent located in New York will be filling in for him.

In 2016, he joined CBS News as a New York-based correspondent after leaving NBC and MSNBC. In May 2019, he was designated the new co-anchor of the network’s morning show.

In September 2021, the show’s name was changed from CBS This Morning to CBS Morning. After joining the show as a co-host, he quickly climbed to fame.

During his time on the show, he has interviewed a number of notable figures, including First Lady Hillary Clinton, comedy icon Steve Martin, and music legend Dolly Parton.

Is He Leaving The Show?

Tony Dokoupil’s abrupt disappearance has sparked speculation that he is leaving the show.

Neither the network nor the host, however, have responded to the charges. The CBS host is now out of the country, according to his most recent Instagram story.

Meanwhile, Vladimir made a comment on the program about filling up for him. He expressed his desire to have Tono return to the show, thus it appears that he will be back shortly. In May 2021, he was on paternity leave from the show.

As soon as Vladimir posted about filling his place for the show, people are wondering where his Tono go. Though there are speculations of him leaving the show, his social media says a different story.

The host will be back on the show as a co-host as soon as he arrives in the States.  As of now, 51-years old CBS News Correspondent based in New York will be appearing to fill in his space.
