Marcus Fairs has died suffering from illness. He was taken to the medical facility on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, after becoming unwell.

“We are very sad to announce the sudden and unexpected death of Dezeen founder, CEO, and editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs at the age of 54. Marcus, who was a brilliant journalist, visionary entrepreneur, and much-loved father, husband, colleague, and friend, was taken to hospital on Tuesday last week after becoming unwell. Following a short period in intensive care, he died on Thursday 30 June 2022.”

Based on his career, Marcus Fairs’ net worth is estimated to be more than $10 million USD.

In 2018, he was named one of London’s most influential people by the Evening Standard. He was also named to the Progress 1,000, a list of influential people from various fields such as culture, health, business, and politics.
