The case of Sandel Hornea, who attached three people in a Luton house before fleeing the UK, is featured on Channel 4’s 24 Hours in Police Custody.

The suspect’s security camera footage was posted on Facebook “quiet soon” afterward, Bedfordshire Police said.

Why Is Sandel Hornea Arrested?

Sandel Hornea is a career thug who managed to get into Britain in 2019 despite having a string of convictions across Europe. 

He pretended as an Amazon delivery driver to gain entry to the house. Hornea is a 36 years old Romanian man. He then attacks the people in the house.

He brutally knocked the grandmother to the floor and dragged her into the kitchen. She suffered a bleed to the brain. He then punched the teen girl.

The girl fractured her eye socket. The home owner’s sister went to check, and Hornea punched her also five times with a games console which he thought was CCTV hard drive.

He was caught on CCTV beating up a 14 years old girl, her aunt, and her elderly grandmother in their home, Luton.

The disturbing level of violence used in the crime shocked the local community, and fortunately, police managed to arrest and convict Hornea.

On March 27, 2021, he was extradited back to the UK from Romania following collaboration between Bedfordshire Police and Romanian authorities.

He was charged with a lot of crimes. He first appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on April 16, where he was remanded in custody with a date on May 4.

 

 

Man Sentenced To Jail Over Sex Trafficking

On his return, he was still charged in connection with the violent robbery in Montrose Avenue, with charges including three counts of woundings.

Plus two counts of grievous bodily harm and one count of actual bodily harm. He was also charged with robbery, theft, and burglary.

He admitted to all the violent burglary but was not charged with any sex trafficking offenses.

 

 

Where is Sandel Hornea Now?

He fled to Romania, but the victims, an affluent Chinese family in Luton posted the shocking footage online and offered a £20 000 reward.

The episode was aired at 9 pm on Monday, September 27, which was also on demand.

He is due to appear in Luton Crown Court to be sentenced on Thursday, October 7. He will remain in custody till then.

His mother, Tyler Hanahan, said that Mason has recently been selected to the Eagle program for academic excellence. The intruder connected to his case remains unknown.

The efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies fail to confirm his identity. There is an appeal to contact Crimestoppers if anyone knows the identity.

A Lexington woman, Monette has been sentenced to 40 years in prison in connection with a home invasion incident that led to the death of the 8-year-old boy.

The body of Emma was found two miles away from the cove. While Mister Gagarin was found the day after.

Gagarin managed to pull the drowning friend on top of the rock in a surprising manner. But it seems to be futile against the powerful water current.

Darya, in the background, films the whole scene where Daniil gets washed away with the raging sea. She is not able to do anything but cry hysterically.
