Explosive Whitey Bulger Writings Suggest FBI Agent Framing: Lawyers Reveal New Evidence

0

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — In a bid to overturn the murder conviction of a former FBI agent, attorneys are spotlighting a handwritten manuscript by notorious mobster James “Whitey” Bulger, arguing that the crime boss’s own words suggest the agent was set up.

On Monday, legal representatives for ex-FBI agent John Connolly submitted a motion to Miami-Dade Circuit Court, aiming to nullify his conviction. They claim to have uncovered new evidence that prosecutors allegedly withheld for years.

This evidence includes FBI reports featuring Bulger’s statements and sections of an unfinished manuscript confiscated by the FBI during a search of Bulger’s residence following his 2011 arrest.

In their court submission, Connolly’s attorneys argue that Bulger, the leader of Boston’s Winter Hill Gang, indicated in his writings that Connolly did not provide him with the information used to orchestrate the 1982 murder of businessman John Callahan in Miami. This contradicts the prosecution’s claims against Connolly. Instead, Bulger pointed to another FBI agent, John Morris, as his informant, labeling Connolly as a “sacrificial lamb,” according to the court documents.

Connolly, now 85 years old, was convicted in Florida on charges of second-degree murder and racketeering.

What is the new evidence?

In the manuscript, Bulger wrote that he was a “criminal almost all of my life,” and described using inside tips to stay ahead of the law.

“I never thought the day would come that I’d be writing a story about my criminal activity,” Bulger wrote.

The attorneys claim Bulger was writing the manuscript to help clear Connolly’s name.

They also say Bulger’s writings and FBI statements made after the mobster’s arrest weren’t previously disclosed to the defense.

The material came to light after a longtime prosecutor involved in the Connolly case resigned from the Miami-Dade state attorney’s office following reports of misconduct that included granting favors to witnesses and coordinating witness testimony.

In 2024, Connolly’s lawyers received a letter from Miami-Dade Chief Assistant State Attorney Jose Arrojo informing them that a sealed envelope labeled “confidential” contained the Bulger manuscript and his statements to the FBI.

In their filing, Connolly’s lawyers accuse prosecutors of a general pattern of misconduct, arguing that they withheld evidence favorable to the defense in violation of constitutional requirements. Courts have previously found that some evidence in the case was improperly withheld, though they ruled it was not material enough to overturn the conviction.

Connolly’s attorneys say the newly surfaced material goes further, creating reasonable doubt about his guilt.

Connolly, who had been serving a 40-year sentence, was granted compassionate release in 2021 after a judge cited his terminal illness and the risks of COVID-19.

Why was Connolly implicated?

Connolly was a special agent with the FBI in Boston in July 1982 when mob hitman John Martorano shot Callahan in the back of the head and left his body in the trunk of a car at Miami International Airport.

Connolly was indicted on a first-degree murder charge 21 years later. At the time, prosecutors claimed Bulger and Stephen Flemmi ordered Callahan’s killing after Connolly told them the FBI was investigating Callahan’s ties to Bulger and his gang for the 1981 killing of Roger Wheeler, who owned World Jai Alai.

But in the manuscript and post-arrest FBI statements, Connolly’s lawyers claim Bulger stated that Connolly was framed by Morris, who was Connolly’s FBI supervisor.

“I am sure everyone close to me thought all the information I had came from (Connolly), Bulger wrote. “I didn’t discourage that thought — sadly for Connolly, he took the heat for warning me to take off and other things that had come from (Morris).”

Bulger accused Morris of becoming a “star witness” against Connolly to save himself. Morris testified against Connolly as part of a cooperation agreement that granted him immunity from prosecution.

While leading his gang, Bulger, who inspired Jack Nicholson’s character in the 2006 Martin Scorsese movie “The Departed” and was portrayed by Johnny Depp in the 2015 gangster drama “Black Mass,” also served as an FBI informant against the Mafia. Bulger denied that claim.

Austen Kroll Sparks Controversy Over Salley Carson’s Past in ‘Southern Charm’ Reunion Shocker

Southern Charm fans are no strangers to the show’s portrayal of a world dominated by men, where the Peter Pan syndrome is rampant and misogynistic remarks are par for the course. Despite these flaws, viewers are drawn to the show for its depiction of lavish lifestyles, dramatic meltdowns, and bold women like Madison LeCroy who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo. However, Austen Kroll, a prominent figure since joining in Season 4, raised eyebrows during the first part of the Season 11 reunion with his hypocritical critique of Salley Carson’s dating history.

Since Season 11’s filming last summer, Kroll and Carson have been caught in a “will-they-won’t-they” dynamic. Kroll initially entered the season in a relationship with Audrey Pratt, yet Carson made her interest in the brewery entrepreneur abundantly clear. Following Kroll’s breakup with Pratt, Carson eagerly pursued him.

The pair shared multiple kisses during a cast trip to Mexico, with Carson openly expressing her attraction to Kroll. By the end of the season finale, it emerged that their connection had continued post-filming, although Kroll downplayed their intensity during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, suggesting things weren’t as “hot and heavy” as Carson had indicated in her media appearances.

Kroll’s reluctance to fully embrace a romantic relationship with Carson puzzled many, considering her intelligence, beauty, and genuine affection for him. This hesitancy was explained during the Season 11 reunion when Kroll revealed his reservations about making Carson his girlfriend.

According to LeCroy, Kroll expressed he would be more committed to Carson if she were “a little more tamed down” and less inclined to “run the streets.” Carson’s reputation precedes her in both Charleston and the Bravo community, with previous romantic entanglements involving Shep Rose, Taylor Ann Green’s current beau Gaston Rojas, as well as flings with Southern Hospitality star Joe Bradley, Summer House star West Wilson, and McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys star Steven McBee. While Kroll insists Carson’s single behavior doesn’t bother him, his comments suggest a judgmental view of her social habits.

“Go out, do your thing, sleep with whomever. I don’t care. But there is a body count of a lot of people…” he says, drawing shocked reactions from the room. Carson insists that she hasn’t been sleeping around, while Andy Cohen chimes in to defend her from the hypocritical accusations. “Well, I mean, excuse me,” Cohen tells Kroll. “I can start with the body count on you. Your Bravo body count is not small.” Just from the Bravo universe, Kroll has dated and/or had flings with LeCroy, Chelsea Meissner, Olivia Flowers, Taylor Ann Green, Ciara Miller, and Lindsay Hubbard, so, as Cohen rightfully pointed out, he isn’t one to talk.

It’s no secret that Kroll is known to be a bit of an F-boy, and that it’s hard to get him to fully commit to one woman. Even when he was dating Miller, arguably one of the prettiest, most level-headed and loyal person on Bravo, he was fooling around with Hubbard behind her back. But to see him fueling the slut-shaming Carson has endured over the past few months from viewers was a new low for him, especially given his reputation. It’s one thing to prefer someone who lives a more low-key life, but another to blast the person you’ve been hooking up with on national television for doing close to the exact same thing you’ve been doing for years.

Austen, your cast isn’t going to “bully” you into dating Carson. But perhaps they can bully you into having more respect for the women you hook up with.

Southern Charm airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.

Discover Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Secret to a Drama-Free Marriage with Freddie Prinze Jr.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed that the secret to her enduring 23-year marriage with Freddie Prinze, Jr. lies in sharing a bedroom but not a bathroom.

Speaking with People magazine in an interview published on Wednesday, the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star explained that having “one bedroom, two bathrooms” helps the couple avoid “a lot of petty fighting.”

Gellar emphasized that it’s not necessary to have both bathrooms in the same bedroom. “There just needs to be an additional bathroom available,” she told the publication.

Gellar also mentioned that since tying the knot in 2002, she and Prinze, 50, have embraced “a quieter life and a private life.”

“We are grateful to live this way,” she added, noting that their fans have been exceptionally respectful of their privacy.

Since meeting on the set of 2000’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” they’ve also built a family. Together, they’re quietly raising daughter Charlotte, 16, and son Rocky, 13.

“I always say I’m two people: I’m Sarah Michelle Gellar and I’m Sarah Prinze,” Gellar, 48, said elsewhere in the interview. “They’re different people.”

Gellar’s comments come after the devastating cancellation of her “Buffy” reboot, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale,” which had already filmed a pilot episode.

The actress later said an executive on the show was “not a fan of the original” series, and told Page Six Radio that she hopes it doesn’t leak.

“Because then everyone’s going to have an opinion on this and that,” she explained. “And pilots are not finished. It wasn’t done.”

Her marriage to Prinze, however, appears to be here to stay.

In a more serious 2024 interview with Fox News Digital, Gellar lamented living in “an extremely disposable society” that treats marriage not as something to be fixed, but to be thrown away — an ideology she rejects.

“I think everything takes work in you, whether it’s a friendship or a work relationship or a marriage,”she told the outlet. “You have to put the work in.”

Prinze, meanwhile, agrees. “We work at it,” he told Variety last July.

Tragic Hit-and-Run: Mother of Six Fatally Strikes Pedestrian and Flees Scene

A 29-year-old Wisconsin woman faces serious charges after allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian with her SUV before fleeing the scene, police report.

Tameca N. Martin is charged with hit-and-run resulting in death and operating a vehicle without a license causing death. The incident tragically claimed the life of Calvin Young Jr., who, according to authorities, was thrown approximately 108 feet by the impact.

The Milwaukee Police Department’s probable cause affidavit reveals that officers responded to reports of a person down on West National Avenue and South 54th Street at 1:40 p.m. on March 9. Upon arrival, they discovered Young lying lifeless in the middle of the street. Emergency medical personnel declared him dead at the scene.

Investigators were able to connect the deadly crash to another nearby incident involving a woman with several children. Witnesses overheard her on the phone, repeatedly urging a man to pick her up. Martin was subsequently located about half a mile from the crash site with a damaged Chevrolet Equinox and six children, all of whom had been passengers in the vehicle.

Shockingly, none of the children, all younger than 12, were properly secured, with only one child in a car seat. Even the youngest, aged 4 and 6, were not in appropriate restraints.

A witness told police he was at a nearby home and overheard Martin on the phone shortly after the crash saying, “I hit the guy he”s not moving,” and saying, “I need you to come get me now. I’m sending my location.”

“The defendant kept repeating, ‘I need you to come get me now’ to the person on the phone,” the affidavit states.

During an interview with police, Martin admitted she was driving the vehicle to a friend’s house when she accidentally struck a pedestrian. When asked about the incident, she responded, “Him? That’s it,” apparently confirming she hit Young and said she “panicked” and left the scene. She told officers her “vision is really bad” and that she did not see the victim before impact, adding she had been looking at her GPS at the time.

Police say surveillance video captured the crash, showing Young walking in a marked crosswalk when Martin’s vehicle struck him. According to investigators, “the Equinox strikes Young, causing his body to travel across 54th Street,” with authorities estimating he was thrown “approximately 108 feet after being struck.”

Despite the severity of the impact, the affidavit states that “no occupant (notably, the driver) is observed checking on Young,” and instead, “the Equinox then pulls around Young’s body and drives away.”

Authorities noted there were no obstacles preventing Martin from stopping, and the intersection was illuminated with “overhead street lamps,” “clearly marked white reflective crosswalk decals,” and a visible pedestrian crossing sign.

In a later interview, Martin told investigators her vision is “really bad” and admitted she had her phone in her hand to follow directions because she was unfamiliar with the area. She said she only noticed Young at the last moment, stating she “squinted her eye and stopped,” but “it was already too late.”

After the crash, Martin said she got out of the vehicle but “did not know what to do,” acknowledging she “should have checked on Young” before leaving. She admitted she then drove away, parked, and told the six children in the car to get out, later concluding she “might as well stay right here, I left the scene, [there is] no point in running.” She said the person she sent her location to was the friend she was driving to visit.

Police say Martin also admitted she has never had a driver’s license and had smoked marijuana about two hours before the crash.

Investigators further noted that multiple young children were in the vehicle at the time, including a 4-year-old and 6-year-old who were not in car seats.

The case remains under investigation pending toxicology results.

A judge ordered Martin held on $25,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court for her arraignment on April 20.

Explosive Revelations: Trump’s Ex-Advisor Disputes Key Justification for Iran Conflict

“There was no intelligence indicating that on March 1, or any specific date, the Iranians planned a significant surprise attack, akin to a 9/11 or Pearl Harbor scenario targeting one of our bases,” Kent remarked.

“They approach escalation with extreme caution,” he added.

Kent also highlighted that since 2004, the Iranian regime has adhered to a fatwa prohibiting the development of nuclear weapons.

“We had no intelligence suggesting that this fatwa was being violated,” he noted.

“I don’t believe the ayatollah feared for his life,” Kent observed.

“Not because he’s some crazy lunatic, but because he knew if he was killed the regime would survive.”

After his resignation yesterday, Trump said Kent was “very weak on security”.

Trump appointed Kent to the role last year.

Kent was a controversial appointment by Trump, with Democrats concerned with his deeply conservative views.

“The IC (intelligence community) assesses the regime in Iran appears to be intact, but largely degraded due to attacks on its leadership and military capabilities,” Gabbard said.

“The IC assesses that if a hostile regime survives, it will likely seek to begin a years-long effort to rebuild its military, missiles and UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles) forces.”

When pushed on whether she believed Iran posed an imminent threat, Gabbard deflected the question.

“The only person who can determine what is and is not an imminent threat is the president,” she said.

The conflict is now entering its 20th day with no sign of abating.

Discover the Affordable Superfood That Aids Weight Loss and Reduces Cancer Risk

0

Amidst the rising wave of chronic illnesses such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer in the United States, a growing body of research underscores the idea that what we eat can significantly impact our health.

In recent years, numerous fad diets have emerged, each boasting the benefits of popular superfoods as a way to mitigate disease risks.

Dietitians, however, are placing increasing emphasis on the importance of fiber, protein, and antioxidants found in lean meats, whole grains, and a variety of fruits and vegetables. Among these, they highlight a humble yet powerful staple: beans.

Beans are available in a wide array of colors and shapes, including kidney, black, navy, lima, garbanzo, and soy varieties. With costs as low as $0.15 per serving and under a dollar per can, beans are not only affordable but also non-perishable and highly adaptable to many dishes.

Thanks to their diversity and affordability, beans can seamlessly integrate into almost any diet, budget, or taste preference, and experts assert that they offer a similar nutritional value across the board.

‘There’s no one “healthiest” bean, as they are all nutrient-dense choices. In general, beans offer plant-based protein, fiber, complex carbohydrates, folate, iron, magnesium, potassium and polyphenols,’ Caitlin Beale, registered dietitian nutritionist and owner of Caitlin Beale Wellness, told the Daily Mail.

She notes there ‘may be some variations’ between types in their exact nutrients. Soybeans, or edamame, tend to be particularly high in protein, with 18g per 3.5oz serving. A cup of cooked lima beans, meanwhile, contains about 40g of complex carbohydrates, which promote fullness and healthy blood sugar levels.

‘But overall, all beans provide nutrients considered beneficial for health,’ Beale said.

Costing as little $0.15 per serving and less than a dollar for a can, beans are shelf stable and highly versatile. Science also suggests they may reduce heart disease, obesity and cancer (stock image)

Dr Catherine Metzgar, registered dietitian and director of coaching at Virta Health, notes regular servings of beans could improve heart health, particularly cholesterol.

She points to a 2014 review published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, which found that eating one serving of beans, lentils or chickpeas daily was associated with ‘meaningful reductions’ in LDL, or ‘bad,’ cholesterol.

‘A big reason for this comes down to the type of fiber beans contain, especially soluble fiber,’ she told the Daily Mail. ‘This type of fiber acts almost like a sponge in the digestive system. It binds to cholesterol and helps remove it from the body, which can lower LDL.’

Beans are also rich in potassium and magnesium.

Potassium is essential for optimal heart health because it regulates the electrical impulses that create a steady rhythm and helps the kidneys remove excess sodium through urine, reducing the risk of high blood pressure.

Magnesium also helps the heart’s muscle relax between beats, lowers inflammation and promotes the widening (vasodilation) of blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

‘Beans also contain polyphenols and beneficial compounds that act as antioxidants and may help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the body,’ Beale said, citing a 2025 review published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences.

Beans have also been shown to help with weight loss, largely due to their high fiber and protein content. A one-cup serving (about 170g) of cooked black beans, for example, provides around 15g of protein and fiber, which is 30 percent and 54 percent of your daily allowance, respectively.

‘The fiber slows down how quickly your body digests and absorbs carbohydrates, which helps keep blood sugar levels more stable and can reduce those midday energy crashes and cravings,’ Metzgar said.

Autumn Bates, a nutritionist who is based out of California, said she recently lost 15lbs of baby weight following the birth of her second child after stocking up on black beans

The diet expert explained in a YouTube video that the legumes are packed full of protein, fiber, vitamins and micronutrients

Autumn Bates, a nutritionist who is based out of California, said in a recent YouTube video that she recently lost 15lbs of baby weight following the birth of her second child after stocking up on black beans

Additionally, protein has been shown to reduce levels of ghrelin, which experts consider a ‘hunger hormone.’

Emerging research also shows black beans in particular may increase levels of the hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), which weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy mimic.

In one 2023 study, mice put on a black bean diet saw their GLP-1 levels increase by 21.6 percent compared to rodents which were fed a high-fat diet.

Metzgar also notes the fiber in most beans may promote a well-rounded gut microbiome – the body’s network of healthy bacteria.

‘When fiber from beans is broken down by gut bacteria, it produces compounds that may help reduce inflammation and support overall heart health,’ she explains.

‘There’s not enough evidence to say one type is better for gut health. Different beans contain slightly different amounts of fiber and resistant starch, so eating a variety is likely the best approach,’ Beale said.

Metzgar notes it’s ‘also normal to experience some gas or bloating if you’re not used to regularly consuming beans.’

‘That’s a sign your gut bacteria are adapting, and these symptoms generally resolve over time,’ she added.

Beale told the Daily Mail the 'easiest' way to implement beans into your diet is to start small and add them to familiar foods, such as putting black beans on tacos or topping salads with chickpeas or lentils (stock image)

Beale told the Daily Mail the ‘easiest’ way to implement beans into your diet is to start small and add them to familiar foods, such as putting black beans on tacos or topping salads with chickpeas or lentils (stock image)

Beale cautions that beans can be harder for people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other gut sensitivities to tolerate, so these people should add beans to their diets slowly.

Emerging research also points toward potential anti-cancer properties in beans. ‘The strongest associations we see are with colorectal cancer,’ Metzgar said.

Recent studies show colorectal cancer, which is surging in Americans under 50, may be fueled by a lack of fiber in the diet. Fiber add bulk to stool and makes it easier to pass, preventing it from sitting in the colon for long periods of time and allowing bacteria and other dangerous contaminants to damage colon cells.

Metzgar suggests using beans as a base for dips, like hummus or black bean dip, and choosing vegetables such as carrots for dipping instead of chips

Metzgar suggests using beans as a base for dips, like hummus or black bean dip, and choosing vegetables such as carrots for dipping instead of chips

A 2023 study from researchers at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center found that participants who added a cup of navy beans to their meals each day saw increases in beneficial bacteria and a decrease in bacteria linked to colorectal cancer.

‘Beans may also indirectly lower cancer risk by supporting a healthy weight, and excess body fat is linked with increased risk of multiple cancers,’ Beale said.

However, she cautioned that research linking bean consumption to lower cancer risks is observational, ‘which means we can’t say there is a direct cause-and-effect relationship, or from studies done in animals or lab models.’

‘A more accurate takeaway is that beans are part of a high-fiber, plant-forward dietary pattern associated with a lower risk of some cancers, especially colorectal cancer,’ she added.

Beale notes the ‘easiest’ way to implement beans into your diet is to start small and add them to familiar foods, such as putting black beans on tacos or topping salads with chickpeas or lentils.

Metzgar opts for using beans as a base for dips, like hummus or black bean dip, and choosing vegetables such as carrots for dipping instead of chips.

Beale also notes canned beans should be rinsed to remove excess sodium. ‘If you’re concerned about gas or bloating at the beginning, start with small portions and increase gradually,’ she said.

ICE Detains Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run Involving Texas Deputy and Veteran Community Helper

Exclusive Report from Fox News: A man living in the United States illegally has been apprehended in connection with the tragic hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a Texas sheriff’s deputy. This development was confirmed to Fox News.

On Saturday, the Department of Homeland Security announced the arrest of Dennis Arguello-Acosta. Authorities allege that Arguello-Acosta was behind the wheel when his vehicle fatally struck Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Deputy Kenneth Lewis on February 21, before he fled the scene.

The incident has sparked significant attention, with Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis expressing strong sentiments. “Deputy Kenneth Lewis served his community with distinction as a law enforcement officer,” Bis stated, emphasizing the tragic circumstances. “He would still be with us today if it were not for this criminal illegal alien who should’ve never been in our country in the first place.”

Dennis Arguello-Acosta and Kenneth Lewis

The arrest of Arguello-Acosta has brought some measure of closure to those grieving the loss of Deputy Lewis, whose dedication to his community was widely recognized.

“Deputy Kenneth Lewis served his community honorably as a law enforcement officer—and he would still be with us today if it were not for this criminal illegal alien who should’ve never been in our country in the first place,” said Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

“ICE has arrested Arguello-Acosta to ensure that he is not free to roam on our streets and threaten public safety. Under President Trump, criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.”

A tipster reached out to rhe FBI and other law enforcement agencies with information on Arguello-Acosta before he was arrested at his home, DHS said.

Lewis, 51, died two days after he was hit on Interstate 10. At the time, he was off-duty but in uniform when he stopped to assist drivers involved in a separate two-vehicle crash, Fox Houston reported.

As Lewis was rendering aid he was struck by a third vehicle, authorities said.

“A superhero is someone that thinks of others before themselves,” Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan said at the time. “And that’s what Deputy Lewis was doing. He took it upon himself to go back on duty to try to help that individual.”

Lewis nearly died 12 years earlier while working for the Missouri City Police Department just outside Houston when he was forced to jump 30 feet off a bridge to avoid being hit by an oncoming vehicle while he was working an accident scene.

Exclusive: Dua Lipa Joins Forces with George Clooney in a Bold Nespresso Campaign Reboot

Dua Lipa is partnering with George Clooney to revitalize his long-standing Nespresso campaign, which has been a staple for two decades.

The 30-year-old singer has been chosen as the new global ambassador for the coffee brand, joining forces with 64-year-old Clooney, who has represented Nespresso since 2006.

The duo posed for a fresh photoshoot to highlight their collaboration, featuring Dua in a sophisticated black jacket paired with a matching skirt.

In another image, she showcased a playful vibe, donning a vibrant blue short-sleeved top and coordinating skirt.

Lorenzo Aizpuru, Nespresso’s Chief Marketing Officer, noted that Dua’s involvement in projects beyond music, such as her Service95 book club and newsletter, made her an appealing choice for the brand.

A spokesperson told Adweek that George ‘continues to collaborate with us and will appear in future brand activities.

‘This new campaign simply puts the spotlight on Dua Lipa, but George’s long-standing relationship and contributions remain essential to Nespresso.”

It comes after Dua looked loved up with her fiancé Callum Turner as she shared photos from their trip to Paris in February.

The Houdini hitmaker couldn’t stop laughing as she wrapped her arms around the actor, 36, with the couple pulling playful faces, stealing kisses and showing off their undeniable chemistry in the snaps.

Dua opened up about the struggle to maintain long-distance relationships as she offered advice to a fan who had moved away for work.

She took on a new role as an agony aunt for her lifestyle site Service95, and was asked for tips on ‘staying connected with loved ones from the other side of the world’.

Dua was the perfect person to ask, having just completed her year-long Radical Optimism tour that saw her travel the world and torn apart from her London-based fiancé Callum and family.

She answered: ‘This is something I’ve had to get pretty good at over the years, especially during touring seasons!

‘I’ll start by saying this: it does get easier with time, but it never stops being hard.

‘Being far away from your family is tough. It’s not just the big occasions you miss; it’s the build-up of small moments that can leave you feeling out of sync with each other.’

Yet after acknowledging the hardships, Dua ended on an optimistic note, musing: ‘Yes, relationships do change with distance, but love doesn’t.

‘If anything, it can feel even stronger when you don’t get to see each other all the time.’

The chart-topper also opened up about her past splits after receiving a letter from a fan whose sister had lost confidence after a break-up.

Dua, who famously dated model Anwar Hadid and chef Isaac Carew before finding love with Callum, replied: ‘Break-ups are never easy, I know that firsthand, and it’s horrible watching someone you love get knocked by one.

‘When someone’s confidence takes a hit, your instinct is usually to rush in with the big affirmations: You’re amazing! F*** them! But I’d say that’s not always what they want or need to hear right away.

‘Sometimes the best thing you can do is just be there and be reliable.

‘Let her say, “This makes me feel like s**t,” without trying to fix it or put a positive spin on it.

‘Break-ups are disorienting and having the space to feel the weight of that can actually be really healing.’

Russell Wilson Accompanies Son Future Zahir on Inaugural College Tour at the University of Texas

Russell Wilson is offering his stepson, Future Zahir, a sneak peek into college life.

The star NFL quarterback recently took the young teen on his maiden visit to the University of Texas in Austin, capturing the experience in a video shared on social media.

In the video, Wilson can be seen navigating the campus roads, with Future eagerly observing the surroundings from the front seat as they drive past the stadium and various landmarks of the university.

“So, what are your thoughts?” Wilson inquires.

“I’m loving Texas, man. This school is amazing,” Future replies. “The stadium is incredible, and it’s true—everything is bigger in Texas.”

Wilson captioned the post, “Hook ’Em! Fun time! Future’s first campus visit!”

Fans reacted in the comments with many praising Wilson for being a great dad to his bonus son.

“I’m so happy Future has Russell in his life.”

“Future knows he’s going places! GOD protect that young man. Thank you GOD for his father @dangerusswilson that mentors and leads. He is in good hands!”

“INCREDIBLE!! Russell really leaves us speechless as a dad.”

“Preparing Future for his future.”

The visit included a tour of the university’s football facilities, where they walked through the trophy room, the film room and player areas.

During the trip, they even met with head football coach Steve Sarkisian and baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle and Future was seen posing with both coaches during his time on the campus.

Future, who turns 12 in May, still has several years before he has to make a decision about where to attend college.

Wilson , meanwhile, played college football at North Carolina State from 2007 to 2010 before transferring to Wisconsin for his final season in 2011.

In 2016, he married singer Ciara, and they share three children together: Sienna, Win and Amora. The couple also raise Ciara’s son, Future, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.

RHONY Stars Jump Ship to E!: Insider Brands Move as ‘Ultimate Betrayal’ of Bravo’s Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen is expressing discontent over the decision of several original Real Housewives stars to leave Bravo for E! Network.

In February, it was revealed that former RHONY cast members Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Kelly Bensimon will feature in a new E! show titled The Golden Life. Although Jill Zarin was initially part of the lineup, she was removed following her controversial remarks about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.

‘RHONY’ alums are ‘dead’ to Andy Cohen

For Cohen, who is the creative force behind the Real Housewives franchise, this move feels like a significant betrayal.

“He considers this an outright betrayal,” an insider shared with Radar Online. “Andy was the architect of that franchise. In his eyes, they’ve crossed a line.”

Another source added, “You can’t just take the brand he developed, rebrand it, and make money elsewhere. Andy won’t let this slide.”

“You don’t take the brand he created, slap on a new logo and cash another check. He won’t forget it,” another source said.

Cohen is “fiercely protective” of the Housewives brand, a network source told Radar. “Cross that line, and the door doesn’t just close – it locks.”

Over 10 episodes, The Golden Life (WT) will follow the quartet of New Yorkers as they start fresh in the Sunshine State.

“In this new ‘golden’ era of life, the longtime friends are thriving in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene,” E! shared in a press release. “With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones. Though skies are bright in Florida, unresolved drama looms as they reconnect after years of highs and lows.”

The show, which does not yet have a premiere date, recently began filming in Palm Beach, Page Six reports.

Bethenny Frankel weighs in on ‘The Golden Life’

One RHONY icon who won’t appear in the new show is Bethenny Frankel. In an Instagram post, she said some of the other woman asked if she would return to TV. But Frankel said she’s moved on and is focused on her various business ventures.

“The amount of money it would take for me to come back — that E! could presumably never pay — would make the other Housewives resent me so much, which did happen before,” she said.

Nonetheless, Frankel said she was rooting for her former co-stars and impressed by E!’s willingness to take on Cohen’s reality TV crown, calling it a “savage, amazing move.”

“I’m really happy for these women and I want them to thrive [and] succeed,” she said. “and I want the show to do well.”
